I chose Sage, the main character of the book The False Prince. Sage was not a smart child but he knew how to spy and sneak around. When he got to Conner's house he often thought about sneaking out. Sage was also punished often for doing the incorrect thing. For example, once Conner had Sage whipped by one of his men named Mott, and I got evidence from the book on pages 135-137. At night Sage would wait until Roden and Tobias went to sleep to explore Conner's house he found a series of tunnels going through the walls of the house lit by dim torches, and Sage would do this many times at Conner's house until Tobias also did it and stabbed Sage in the back. Pages 172-175 and pages 167-172. At the beginning of the two weeks Sage didn't have a chance because he could not read or write, only Tobias could do those, but by the end of the two weeks he had turned into a prince, and he had everything he wanted. Chapters 44-54 Sage was often fighting and arguing with a guard named Creagan, the other two boys often didn't talk to Creagan but Sage was not a big fan of him because Cregean always talked about injuring or even killing Sage. Sage also disliked Conner because Conner would yell at him very frequently throughout their stay.
